If you’re looking to give this holiday season, it can feel a bit overwhelming to find the perfect non-profit to donate to.
With so many civil rights, reproductive rights, and constitutional rights on the line right now, it’s more important than ever to give right now. Below, we’ve gathered a list of worthy non-profits that could definitely use some love.
Some of the issues we cover include human rights, criminal justice reform, police brutality, climate change, reproductive rights, period poverty, food insecurity, trans rights, suicide prevention, domestic violence, rape and sexual assault, voter suppression, and more.
• Trans Lifeline: provides trans peer support for the trans community by offering emotional and financial support to those in crisis.
• Trans Women of Color Collective (TWOOC): uplifts the narratives, leadership, and lived experiences of trans people of color while building towards the collective liberation of all oppressed people
• Marsha P. Johnson Institute: provides workshops., fellowships, and programs to Black trans people who are resisting, grappling with survival, and looking for community
